ManyMotion vs VEED
ManyMotion or VEED: Online Video Editor or AI Video Editor?
VEED is a very complete online video editor: a timeline in the browser, auto subtitles, screen recording, templates and plenty of AI tools. ManyMotion also runs in the browser, but without a timeline: you upload your video, say what you want, and the AI editor edits the whole thing. It also creates animated videos from an idea. Two philosophies, two types of users.

What VEED Does Well
VEED brings lots of tools together in a single tab: timeline editing, auto subtitles and subtitle translation, screen and webcam recording, a teleprompter, templates, audio cleanup tools. For a marketing team that wants to do everything in the browser, with precise control and a wide range of features, it's a solid toolbox.
If you need to translate subtitles into several languages or record your screen right inside the tool, VEED does things ManyMotion doesn't.
What ManyMotion Does Differently
An editor, however well designed, asks you to do the editing. ManyMotion starts from the opposite premise: you don't need to know how to edit. You upload your video (up to 30 minutes and 5 GB, sent in chunks so nothing is lost if your connection drops) and the AI editor makes every decision:
- What to cut: silences, "ums", false starts, repeats.
- How to open: your strongest line can move to the start.
- When to re-grab attention: zooms on your face, shakes, flashes, emojis, on-screen text.
- How to score it: original music that ducks under your voice, sound effects synced to every effect, normalized audio.
Then you make corrections in one sentence. And when you haven't filmed anything, the AI creates a complete motion graphics video from your description. For the details, see AI video editor.
