Create your website hero video by describing what you sell

Visitors decide in seconds whether to stay on your page. A short video at the top of your homepage or landing page shows them what you do, who it's for and why you're the right pick, before they've read a single paragraph. With ManyMotion, you describe your offer in the chat and the AI creates an animated video: headlines, your website or app screenshots in motion, voice-over and an original soundtrack. Refine it by chatting, then export an MP4 to drop into your page.

Why ManyMotion

Your value prop at a glance

Kinetic text, steps and animated stats say in 30 seconds what your page takes a full scroll to explain.

Your real product on screen

Upload screenshots of your site or app: the AI frames them in a browser or phone, scrolls the page and zooms in on the button that matters.

Works with the sound off

Key messages appear on screen, while the voice-over and music kick in when a visitor turns the sound on.

A format for every screen

16:9 for desktop, 9:16 for mobile, 1:1 for a feature block. One request is all it takes to switch.

Always up to date

How it works

  1. 01

    Describe your video

In one or two sentences: your topic, your offer, the tone you want and the format.

  2. 02

    The AI animates it

Animation, voice-over, original music and sound effects, all in sync, in about a minute.

  3. 03

    Tweak and export

Ask for changes by chatting, then download an MP4 that is ready to post.

Where a video earns its place on your website

  • Homepage hero: next to or below your main headline, it sums up your offer in 20 to 40 seconds.
  • Campaign landing page: visitors arrive from an ad, and the video carries the same promise straight to the form or checkout.
  • "How it works" section: three animated steps beat three blocks of text. For this format, see our animated explainer video page.
  • Product or feature page: a short interface walkthrough with an on-screen cursor, just like a product demo video.

Anatomy of a 30-second hero video

  1. 0–3 s: the promise. Your main benefit in kinetic type, readable on mute: "Your calendar fills itself."
  2. 3–18 s: the demo. Your site or app in a browser or phone frame, with scrolling and zooms on the key elements.
  3. 18–25 s: the proof. An animated stat, a customer quote or a before/after split screen.
  4. 25–30 s: the call to action. The same words as the button right below it: "Start free," "Book a call," "Get a quote."

The first seconds matter most, since many visitors never see the end. Find a strong opening line in our video hooks guide. If you're selling software, the SaaS app launch video template shows how to stage an interface.

Most browsers block autoplay with sound, so a hero video that starts on its own has to work silently. Save the voice-over version for spots where visitors press play themselves.

Mistakes that slow down or weaken your page

  • A hero that runs too long: on a loop, 15 to 30 seconds is plenty. Longer, and visitors never see your payoff.
  • Tiny text: what reads fine on your laptop disappears on a phone. Always check the 9:16 preview.
  • A video that says something else: headline, video and button should share one message and one call to action.
  • An unoptimized file: compress your MP4 and set a poster image so the page still loads fast.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add the video to my website?

+

Export a Full HD MP4 and add it like any other video: in your CMS, your website builder, or through the video hosting platform you already use.

Can I show my own website in the video?

+

Yes. Upload screenshots of your pages: the AI displays them in a browser or phone frame, can animate a scroll and zoom in on a detail.

How much does a website video cost?

+

One credit equals 1 second of video, so a 30-second hero video uses 30 credits. You get 60 free credits at sign-up to try it. The Starter plan, at $12 per month, removes the watermark and includes 200 credits (see pricing).

Does a website video need a voice-over?

+

Not for an autoplaying hero, which plays muted. For an explainer that visitors start themselves, a voice-over helps: just ask for both versions.

Can I get a desktop and a mobile version?

+

Yes. Create your video in 16:9, then ask to "switch to 9:16" to get a vertical version for small screens.
