Slow motion or speed-up: when to use each
- Slow motion (0.25× to 0.5×): a precise gesture, a liquid, something snapping, a product catching the light. The original sound is muted (slow motion would distort voices) and replaced with sound effects.
- Speed-up (2× to 4×): a preparation, a journey or a transformation (before / after) that needs to fit into a few seconds.
